All orders placed on Merc.com are shipped via UPS. Our usual delivery schedule of processing orders within 1-2 working days for UK orders and up to 5 days for overseas orders. Once an order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping notification to you via email or text on your mobile, which will include a tracking URL and tracking code so you may track the progress of your package throughout delivery to you. The majority of orders require a signature upon delivery.
For the delivery by standard packaging within the UK we charge £4.50 per order.
For orders over £75 delivery is free.

Your package will be delivered to your door anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) or by close of business for commercial addresses.
Please note that an order can be delivered to a neighbour, in case a delivery attempt is unsuccessful. Delivery to a neighbour is upon judgment of the driver. You will be notified of the delivery to an alternate address.
For delivery using UPS Access Point within the UK we charge £2.95 order.
For orders over £40 delivery is FREE.

Don’t worry if you aren’t going to be in to receive your Merc threads.We can ensure your parcel is sent to a designated UPS Access Point location. These are secure local businesses that UPS have partnered with, locations include newsagents, petrol stations and convenience stores.
UPS Access Points offer a broad range of opening hours (e.g. early in the morning, late in the evening, during the weekend), so you can collect your parcel when it suits your schedule knowing that your Merc items are secure.

How will I know when my parcel is ready for collection?
When your order has left our warehouse and is shipped to your delivery destination, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us.
Delivery to a UPS Access Point usually arrives within 2-5 working days from the shipped date, and you will receive an e-mail notification when your parcel arrives and is ready to collect.
What Identification should I bring?
You'll need one of the following forms of identification to pick up your package at a UPS Access Point location
Option 1: Present a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, foreign national or military ID. The full name on the ID must match that of the package's Ship to label.
Option 2: Present any other photo ID containing your full name, along with one of the following documents also containing your full name: utility/phone bill, council tax bill, wage slip, or bank statement.
Option 3: Present a government-issued photo ID along with a shipper-provided package release code (if required).*
Can someone collect on my behalf?
If you need someone else to collect your package on your behalf, they'll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID or another valid photo ID containing the full name along with a utility bill, tax bill, or bank statement with full name and proof of connection to the address on the UPS label or to the named person (named person's valid ID or photocopy).
Also accepted as proof of connection is an official notification from UPS that provides the shipment/order details for the parcel (recipient name, shipper name, UPS Access Point location address and tracking number). Notifications can be printed out or provided on a smart phone.
If your shipper provides a package release code for your delivery, your friend or family member can present their photo ID and the code to pick up your package.*
*Note:While we'll notify you on shipment notifications or tracking status updates if you need a code to collect your package, your shipper will provide the code directly to you.
How long will you hold my order?
You have 10 calendar days to collect your parcel at the chosen UPS Access Point. After the 10th day, your parcel will be sent back to Merc. Once returned, a 3.90GBP standard return fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Please note that the original shipping and handling charge is non-refundable.
